CRECHE PROGRAMME Background
NIWCYD has implemented 261 cheches for the children of working women in Vidarbha region of Maharshtra, Madhya Pradesh & Tribal pockets of Chhattisgarh. This activity was supported by Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi under National Creche Programme.
Through this activity, the organization has provided supplementary nutrition, health care and child care services during the time of working of mothers.
he organization has supported 6675 children every year. The programme was conducted during the year 2010-11 to 2016-17 with support from Central Govt. Through this programme around 12000 children benefited and around 60% children linked with primary education programme."
